I love these as a snack. The best part is there is no refined sugar. Also, make sure to include the dash of chili powder! It is surprisingly delicious!
Maple Candied Nuts

Serves: 1 cup
Ingredients
- 1 C pecans (or other nuts)
- 1 T coconut oil
- 2T maple syrup
- ½ t cinnamon
- 1 t vanilla
- Optional: dash chili powder
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in skillet and cook over medium heat until the syrup has caramelized and is sticking to the nuts – 5 to 10 minutes. Stir frequently so they don’t burn.
- Cool on a plate and eat or add to salad.
