School Lunches

February 26, 2015 by candicebeckwith Leave a Comment

peanut-butter-and-honey-sandwichSeveral years ago I told our children that I would make their lunches if they would be willing to eat healthier. They readily agreed. I love, love love the lunch ideas found on the site: 1oo Days of Real Food. I bought the ziploc containers which were cheap and worked so well. Sadly, they have been discontinued but you can find tested alternatives here. I printed the lunch ideas and put them in my mom notebook and then had the children circle the foods they would be willing to eat. So far it has been pretty successful except for when I get lazy. Then it’s back the the old standby; pb&j, apple slices, crackers and a granola bar.
