In a large frying pan, heat oil, and fry onion for 3-4 minutes until transparent. Add garlic, cloves, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, salt, cayenne and turmeric powder. Cook for 1 minute on medium heat stirring constantly. Pour contents of 2 cans of garbanzo beans, including liquid into pan. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chopped fresh coriander right before serving.
