Whole Foods Corn Bread
- 1 c cornmeal
- 1 c whole wheat pastry flour (can substitute for regular whole wheat flour)
- 1 T baking powder
- ½ t fine salt
- 1 c non dairy milk (or milk)
- ¼ c apple sauce
- ¼ c pure maple syrup
- 2 T raw sugar (optional)
- Combine all ingredients and cook at 400 degrees in a greased 8x8 pan or 9’ pie pan.
- I am guessing at cooking time here since I never time my baking. Just bake until knife comes out clean! (Maybe 30 minutes?)
