Cumin Rice

picrzR6KcThis is a really fast recipe that adds a nice touch to a taco bar. Most of the time I use brown jasmine or basmati rice instead of white. I also use a non msg bouillon found at a whole foods store.

Cumin Rice

Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • 2 c water
  • 2 cubes of boullion
  • ½ t cumin
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 T butter
  • 4 sprigs cilantro
  • 1 c rice
Instructions
  1. Bring to boil water, boullion, cumin, garlic and butter.
  2. Add cilantro and rice. Lower heat, cover and cook until rice is tender.
  3. Fluff and serve.
