Laura’s Pesto and Provolone Sandwiches

Serves: 2 sandwiches
Ingredients
- 2 T prepared basil pesto sauce
- 1 T mayonnaise
- 4 thick slices of French bread
- 2 slices provolone cheese
- 4 slices tomato
Instructions
- Combine pesto and mayonnaise in a bowl.
- Assemble sandwich with a little pesto mixture, slice of cheese and tomato slices.
- Make just like a normal grilled cheese sandwich. Also good with both Provolone and smoked mozzarella together.
Notes
For a special treat for Grant I sometimes grill chicken and include in sandwich.
